Or if you are lucky enough to have it run through your faucets.

Our yard was the one that caught fire. Let me clear up any misunderstandings. NO ONE in my family smokes. We despise smoking. This was a good example of a careless person walking or driving by and dropping their cigarette somewhere other than an ashtray. Our house is on a corner near Hillside Elementary, and many people walk by on their way over to the track or playground. If you smoke, please think before you drop your cigarette somewhere. Hopefully, other homeowners will learn from our dry yard and turn on more sprinklers--which, I agree, is hard to do when you want to save water and money.

So, everyone, water your grass! But even if you do, in this weather it may not matter; green grass is flammable, too, if people are careless when they are smoking.

    Let's hope for more rain!
