Electronics Recycling Drive, 3/8/14!

Need to get rid of old electronics? Don't know what to do with them?
Have no fear! Cadette Girl Scout Troop 6480 is here to help!

We are holding an electronics recycling drive on Saturday, March 8th, 2014. We will pick up your old electronics and drive them over to the recycling center for you.

We will accept almost anything that plugs in (small appliances such as coffee makers, toasters and such, chargers, CDs/DVDs, cameras, cables, keyboards, scanners, modems, routers, etc.)

We cannot accept: light bulbs, batteries, glass, televisions or heavy/oversize items.

To sign up:
1. send an email w/ your name, home address to troop6480@gmail.com before 3/7/14.
2. place your electronics on your porch by 8am on Saturday, March 8th
3. Leave a donation envelope with a check made out to 'Girl Scout Troop 6480'; we are asking for a suggested donation of $10

The recycling drive is a money-earning event for our troop to take a summer trip to NYC.

An additional note to the above:

We are also doing a separate collection for empty printer/toner cartridges. Only original manufacturer cartridges accepted. If you have those for collection as well, please put them in a separate bag from the electronics recycling.
