So in the past 3 yrs we've been to Great Country, Cox Farms, and Marker Miller. (Marker Miller being our favorite). We'd like to try another new place this year. What places can you recommend that have kiddie slides/activities, farm animals, pumpkins, hayrides, etc. I know there are a lot of websites that have them listed, but I'm looking for opinions of those who have been there, so you can tell me if it really is worth the price of admission, are they clean, well maintained, lots to do, etc.

    Thanks!

Wegmeyer Farms! Well, that's where we're going this year. GC and Cox are so-so. WF has actual pumpkins on vines!

Cox farm is great, hay rides, slides for everyone & little fenced area to feed goats! they have shows through out the day & you get a small pumpkin when you leave.

My son's kindergarten class went there last year for a field trip. My other son's preschool class is going there this year. My husband chaperoned and said it was fun. Lots of activities for the kids.

We’ve gone for the past several years, and each time we bring nephews/nieces and other family along for the trip. Having visited a few of the others mentioned, I actually would highly recommend the one at the Leesburg Zoo. Lots of fun, good pricing and not too far from home.

I think we'll try Wegmeyer Farms this year. No admission fee, but maybe they don't have a children's play area. We don't need the play area anyway - just the pumpkins and gourds. Apparently we need to bring some clippers and cut the pumpkins right from the vines. Cool.
