Anyone notice the trucks on Waxpool near the toll road today pulling fiber? This is a very common site on Waxpool near AOL and MCI but not out here. I also noticed what looked like a bore hole at Claiborne and Waxpool on the North side of the intersection away from southern walk. I'm curious as to what it's for. I would think that if it was for OpenBand it would be more in the area of Southern Walk. Has anyone else noticed these trucks in the area?

It could have been copper but the name on the side of the trucks made me think it was fiber (Fiber was in the name). They looked like contractors and not the normal MFS or Verizon trucks we see around. I wish I remember the name but I can't recall now.

This may be the fibre that an OpenBand CS rep told a Broadlands resident they were waiting for. That line, if its the same one, was tracked all the way down from Belmont CC along Ashburn Road. Two weeks ago, as I was coming down Ashburn Rd, I saw an OpenBand branded pickup parked near where they were pulling the line.

I believe that it was for the Openband Cable box/HD upgrade coming next week. I was told that I would see there trucks working along Waxpool when I inquired about it.
