Sorry for the quick outtage tonight, we upgraded to the latest version of the forum software.

One notable feature is the ability to specify your skype address in your profile if you care. Users can click your icon and skype you right from within vbulletin.. try it out

A program that runs on your PC to allow you to make Internet phone and video calls. Great for people that are very long distance, however, each person must be running a version of the software on their PC for it to work.

www.skype.com is a very popular pc client to make voice call between users or from your PC to any telephone. Its so popular due to its quality, ease of use, and their dirt cheap telephone rates. You can make a call from your PC to anywhere in the world quite cheap.

Version 2 also added video with pretty good quality.

Basically on the forum, you can put your IM contacts in your forum profile, and the appropriate icons will show up in your messages under your location and posts count. Users can see if you are online or not by the icon, and can quick click to start a conversation with you. This of course is based on your IM client's preferences for who can see your status, call you, etc. The forum integration just makes it easy to start conversations.. it does not replace the client applications.
