My house is only 3 years old and the seal in between the window panes of the front door are buckled. It looks bad! I will be replacing my door soon. Are there any restrictions on the type of front door? Is anyone else experiencing the same thing

Just submit an application to the modifications committee, but as long as the door is similar, shouldn't be a problem. Submit the application before you begin the work.

We have the same problem. We contacted VM and they said they will give us a new frame but will not do the installation.

We just had our front door window panes replaced because of the buckling problem (our house is 3 years old). Van Metre came out and replaced the windows for free because the windows are still under warranty. Although, it took them quite awhile. We started this process in January and they just got replaced two weeks ago. I would give Van Metre a call.

We had our front door replaced by Home Despot. They have a door contractor that is very, very good. The HOA was VERY VERY COOPERATIVE - in fact, all my wife did was show them a picture of the new door and we were approved.
