So, every Thurs. the Loudoun Times is thrown in our driveways. Ok, no problem. But there is also a little pack of garbage ads thrown. It is so annoying. There are a lot of people who don't even bother to pick them up, so they stay at the end of their driveway and rot. Is there any way we can get this delivery to stop? It's a waste of paper, and makes the neighborhood look trashy. It seems most people don't even want it anyhow.

I believe you can call the Loudoun Times and request that they not deliver to you.
I am curious why people don't just bend over, pick up, throw away... is it really that difficult?

    No, but it's wasteful.

It's not the Loudoun Times I'm talking about. It's the other paper or rather garbage that comes seperately. Not sure who sends that.

The papers do rot (when it rains). I try to pick up my neighbors since they don't seem to want it, but I often feel like I'm taking what isn't mine.

Ours go into recycling too. First I have to get the paper out and put the plastic cover with other plastic which has to be all in one bag. If the service can be stopped it can save a lot of energy and paper from being manufactured.
