GE Side by Side - Water Dispenser Not Working

    Just like Suzvel, ours does not produce ice. Any fixes for that? How long is the warranty?

    I called GE and set up a service appt. We have been in our house for about 3 years so I bet we are out of warranty but I will let you know what the service man says.

    Well the GE repairman was just here, for a total of 5 minutes. He gave me a new icemaker, said he could tell it was already working, and left. He said it would be covered under warranty repair and charged me nothing. When I hear the first load of ice drop I will be very happy. I would call and set this up if you have any issues with your fridge, we waited almost a year thinking it would be an expensive fix and it was free.
