Website owners! Anyone use this? Any feedback good or bad about it? do your users find it helpful?

Website users! Do YOU click on google ads? do you find them annoying on websites?

Thanks in advance... feel free to pm me if you prefer. :)

    I block all ads...

I use Flashblock with my Firefox browser and between the two rarely see an advertisement.

I use and love flashblock for firefox as well. It does a great job at letting you control what is shown and will remember sites that you tell it to allow. It will stop all ads that are flash based, but static image ads will still show. If you want those killed as well, try "adblock" for firefox. I haven't used it but friends tell me it works as well as flashblock but for all ads.

They are both just free add-ons for the free firefox browser. They won't work with internet explorer.

I use adsense on my site. It brings in a little extra revenue which is nice. But it's not a lot. I do like it better than other ad network options, because the ads generally serve up very fast and do not slow down my site. It's certainly an easy option to try -- it costs you nothing and is very easy to set up.

Feel free to send me a PM if you'd like more specifics about my experiences with it. :)

I have Adblock, too. All due respect to people trying to generate revenue via website advertising, it just isn't something I as a website viewer like to see. Back in the day when the ads were simpler (and non-flash) and less obtrusive it wasn't so bad but now they bother me.

Google text ads are about as non-flashy as you can get. They show up on the right side of the Google page when you search. We use them for my company very successfully. It's to direct people to your site based on the keywords they search from.

There are no pop-ups (which are very 1990s) and I agree bad. Google adwords are a good alternative for us.
