I just thought this picture was really cool (not for the rat of course). I found it on the Institute for Wildlife Studies website when I was looking at what was happening with the Catalina Bald Eagles off of California. They found this rattler in one of the cages of an eagle they are rehabilitating. They've got a great website where you can actually watch the breeding, incubation and rearing of bald eagles on live cams. Here's their website www.iws.org. The eagles should be starting to prepare their nests in the next few weeks.

That's wild. Just today I was cleaning out my backyard with my boys and we came upon a two foot garder sneak trying to swallow a baseball size frog. It had the frogs back leg in his mouth and it was obvious that was all he was gonna get. Needless to say the frog was most relieved when we separated the two.

Hey Lori! Went camping with adult girl scouts this weekend and spent the weekend with a family of eagles soaring over the Aquia in Stafford! I have a picture, but it's not great- I will post when I upload them.
