Hardwood Floor recommendations

    Looking to get a quote on hardwood flooring. Any current recommendations?

    We used K & K Floors (again) a few months ago for another project in our home. And we also used them years ago (2007 & 2008 respectively) for slew of large projects, one of which was custom job because of the large size of tread/risers our main stairs.

    We were very happy with their service, which is why we called them a couple of years later for another project (late 2012).

    we used Nova Homeworks late fall 2012 and it was a phenomenal experience. Very professional team, well supervised, polite crew did an amazing and fast job.
    Here are before and after pics- they pulled up and disposed of the carpet, and left the house cleaner than they found it. :)

    I just got my estimate from K&K Floors - quote seemed reasonable but the $5.75 sqft seemed a lot higher than Home Depot at $3.50 and whole house installation of $300. I am sure quality is an issue here so will wait for the proposal to do some research.
