Not sure where this belongs, but COVID times call for creative problem solving....

My daughter is a sophomore at BWHS, and an avid (and very good) X-box gamer. She is exploring the BWHS Gamer Club; however, as most activities are paused until in-person school returns, she's not expecting much will happen there.

So...if you also have a teen daughter who loves to play pretty much anything, who might be interested in connecting with another young female teen player via X-box, it would be great if we could connect as parents and help make introductions. If it makes a difference, she is very set on X-box, and doesn't have or want another platform, so understand that might limit the options.

FWIW, she has tried to go out into the gamer community on the X-box and meet up with folks, but if you also play, you know the online forum experience can get a little icky (and even downright mean), especially for a teen girl who is more interested in games, theater, music and art and is only interested in young men with similar interests and who are not foremost interested in her romantically. If you have a son who plays collaboratively, respects boundaries and has a wicked (and appropriate) sense of humor, she's open to that too...but her experiences with young male gamers her age makes her (and me) very cautious about who she connects with.

Thanks, and sorry for the long post -- appreciate any suggestions other parents might have for getting her connected to a fun, positive set of gamer peers while we are all doing our best to beat this virus.
