HSA Votes to Deny HCA Application!!!

    This has not made it to the Loudoun county newspaper or the Washington Post yet, but I just spoke with the Health Systems Agency of Northern Virginia office in Falls Church. The vote on the HCA application last night was 13-0 (with two absentions) AGAINST</u> HCA's application for Broadlands Ho$pital.

    This now goes to the State Commissioner who denied HCA's request last year! This is excellent news for all of the residents of the Broadlands.

    If HCA bought the land, I wonder what they will do with it if they can't put in the hospital?

    Even though I'm a newbie here, count me in on the celebration! I'll take the same drink as you, Stephanie. I live on Starbuck's white mochas, sometimes with soy but sometimes skim. You've gotta have some variety!

    SK8R: Maybe the hospital land can be sold to a company that owns ice rinks?
