Internet Safety Seminar 1/9

    There's an Internet Safety seminar being held on 1/9 at 7PM, during the South Riding/Hutchison Elementary School PTA meeting (at the school) - given by a local children and adult's computer training company called Whizkids...http://www.whizkidsllc.com

    Anybody can go, admission is free.

    Sure - under the "Dadministrator" title, I do a bunch of Internet Safety-related things, including volunteering with Wiredsafety.org, Internet Safety activities with my "day job" company (relating to Homeland Security), a running blog and ebook on the subject. It so happens my wife and her neighbor own the South Riding-based "Whizkids" outfit, and we're all collaborating with the PTAs in getting Internet Safety material out and into our local schools and communities. It's an incredibly important topic, and needs a lot more exposure. Perhaps needs its own thread here in our forum.

    That's all I wanted to know. Your postings made it seem as if you had no affiliation with this company which isn't really the case. I was only asking for a little bit of disclosure in the future...
