Need Help! JR/Entry Level INFOSEC Opportunity

Opportunities available for an experienced network security professional with the fastest growing INFOSEC firm in the nation. The successful candidates will be placed on site at the client’s datacenters in Rockville and Baltimore and must be available for various shifts. SOC Analyst would monitor network security events received from customer's monitored servers, and then take appropriate action based on customer's security policy

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen, clearable to a level of Public Trust
• Thorough understanding of networking technology such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, switching and routing.
• Security + and Network+ with the ability to attain CISSP
• Must be able to explain complex network security concepts in plain language to non-technical people.
• Strong communication skills with the ability represent the client in technical meetings
• Familiarity with one or more security best practice frameworks such as HIPAA, SOX, ITIL and COBIT
• Deep understanding of data center operations with some on-call availability
• Experience with IDS and security software agents
• 3+ years experience

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• BA in Information Systems or like field
• CISSP
• Incident Response
• Experience with Netwitness, Nitro, WebSense, and/or Blue Cat
• 5+ years experience
