I've been there. I've got a lot of experience with Peruvian rotisserie chicken, and I would rate King Pollo as "OK." My two critiques of the bird I ate was that it had too much pepper on it, and that some parts of it had a very pink appearance.

Another nearby option that I found substantially better is Pollo Factory, in the small shopping center on Enterprise Street, across from Big Lots. Pollos Inti, over by Burlington Coat Factory is also good.

If you're willing to travel for your chicken, I've found that the best in the area is Edy's Chicken on Leesburg Pike across from Skyline Mall. Area Peruvians travel great distances, passing numerous pollerias, for Edy's birds which are cooked in wood-fired ovens.

Can't agree with you more, Earl4. Edy's Chicken and Steak is the best Peruvian chicken in the area! If you go, bring cash as they don't take credit cards or checks.

well i went for convenience and decided to give King Pollo a try- it was GREAT. the chicken was thoroughly cooked, well seasoned, juicy and of decent size. VERY flavorful aji (the green sauce) and a hefty portion of pinto beans on the side.

Was it the best Peruvian Chicken I've ever had? No- but it was good enough to try again. I'll try the other places too- but for $12 I got dinner for me AND my son- 1/2 chicken with 2 sides and 2 flans, so I'd say it was good food for a good value.

Now the place itself could use some polish- kinda grimy looking and feeling. But I'm there to get chicken to go and that's it. :)

not Flying Colors good, but goooood enough!

El Choizto in Leesburg is excellent. It's kinda dumpy, but the food is good. The chicken is outstanding.
