LAN Gaming Party - Sat, Oct 21. Call of Duty 2!

i do come to the event with a fun attitude, and i hope that other people have fun, it's not my fault if people get angry with the game that they are not good enough to compete with me. I get mad too, im not the best player, but its not like it ruins the whole day for me, you learn how to deal with it. Its not like im gunna tone down my skills just so everyone else can kill me, cuz then that would not be fun for me. And maybe if u noticed at the last lan party (BF2) that me and my friend did tone it down. You guys did kill us, and you guys still got mad, because we knifed you. But that was the only weapon we were really using, so it is kinda tuff to please you guys. Maybe if you realize that it is a "video game" and realize it is not a life/death situation, then you might have fun. We all lose at some point, its how you deal with it.

 

Killing someone, having your friend on the other team res him, then kill him again starting the process all over again isn't fun for.. guess who? If I ever see that again I'll personally start unplugging computers.

I was on the other team the entire day from you two. All day long, you all won every single map. I didn't complain, but we just want to keep it fair: thats all.

 

I am not able to attend the next LAN party because I have an away varsity football game the same day. I hope all you guys have fun.

 

i just ordered my mobo and prossessor and they should be here thursday so i am going to be able to bring my clear case and i might bring my friend and let him use my other one since you dont need the cd to play multi player.

this will be fun because i told some people at schoool that like to play cod 2 and they said they might come.

Well, I play cal-invite source and im trying out a new game, so if you want them to have some more competition i'll be there and you can put me on opposite teams. I'm currently the manager of team-who?! cal-im cod:2. And on digital revolution cal-invite. Dont mean to brag, just letting you know there will be someone with some experience you can match them up with.

So your saying there will be no more lans after this one? I haven't been to one of yours yet. I've attended w2z and bigger lans. Im looking forward to something local, I wish I had known about it before. Will the nature center still be available for lans? If someone else is running them?

Do we need any patches for Saturday's COD 2 game?

I don't think I've updated anything since buying it....

I think as long as you can play the game online in multiplayer servers you should be fine for the lan, but im not 100%.

 

My Hubby plays BF2 ALL THE TIME! he's even hosted a fragging party at his office. He has seen the ads for Call of duty2, I bet he'd come for BF2...he is kaosdad008 - mostly playing Special Forces, looking for a decent Euro Force & Armored Fury game or two.

He says BF2 is phasing out, but still very popular. The new one is BF 2142 and he's still on the fence about jumping to that one. He bailed out of the www.bf2s.com forum because of the jerks that have taken over. He's now more on www.ktotheimmy.com which is a general social forum with a BF2 overtone. (note: All words above are his own, copied from an email I just sent to him about this). BTW you'll also see his moniker on his license plate - if you haven't already

I am more into Adventure games. I loved American McGhee's Alice, and have been patienly peeling off my nails for his "Oz"...they are down to the nubs now...

MY HUBBY BOUGHT ME A RAD !ALIENWARE! Aurora so I could actually run the games he finds for me (or more likely I find for me...) It ROCKS ON! (Sadly I don't have the emoticon for that). I got Reeeeal tired when the chipset in my old laptop didn't support the newer games, so he figured he'd satisy that need forever. HA HA.

 

Hey just to let you guys know if you do not know already CALL OF DUTY 2 v.1.3 has just been released

 

well, i might actually come to like the last 3 hrs of the event, considering that there are people coming that might be good and since i havnt played the game in a year. so i'll suck and every one i harrased in BF2 can come and rape me in COD2, thats what i would call revenge, i hope it is a good parting gift 4 u guys. =)

 

I just found out i do not have to attend my high school football game in Richmond since I'm on JV not varsity looks like ill be able to come.

 

so go practice up, ill be there

 

We'll be playing with the latest and greatest patch. We'll have it available for those who don't have it yet as well.

And please keep in mind we'll be balacing the teams throughout the day for those of us that...um... aren't so expert at it... not that I know anyone like that!

 

Haha, I'm only 15, but I think it's great that you guys get these LAN parties up and running. I haven't known about them until now or I would have been attending, you shouldn't just stop doing it because of a few bad experiences as I think that's the case? I hope it's fun for you though since it will be the last.
