****This is not an ad, just looking for feedback.

I am trying to get a feel for the interest in the community when it comes to having your lawn mowed. My company does strictly landscape design/build and all in house. I have been asked over the past few years about providing lawn mowing/pruning/mulching of local properties and in my current position would only be a matter of hiring qualified employees to take off with it.

What is it that you do not like about your current company's service?

What is it that you do like about your current company's service?

What is it that you would like to see from a lawn service company?

What would make you consider changing to another company?

I'm local and would like to keep the route local so what better place to ask?

    Thanks for any feedback!

I never know what time they are coming, so I have to scramble (if I am home) to get the dog toys out of the yard so they aren't destroyed by the mowers.

What is it that you do like about your current company's service?
They are fast, do a great job mowing and edging, and their price is good- $50 front, side, back mowing and edging.

What is it that you would like to see from a lawn service company?
Dependability, legal employees, referral and group discounts, ability to identify and give solutions for lawn issues. oh and pretty patterns when the mow the lawn so it looks like a baseball field!

What would make you consider changing to another company?
Lower price for the same or better work.

Yard does not show well. Similar to prior comment, yard does not show with nicely mowed lines. Issue is that they use the large commercial mowers which tend to not cut as nicely. Also, the wheels on the mowers are powered which will tear up your yard when they make turns. I must have 30 bare spots in my yard from their turns.

What is it that you do like about your current company's service?

Price for service - Cost is $45 for a 1/3 acre lot includes bagging and edging. They do a very good job edging.

What is it that you would like to see from a lawn service company?

Quality and dependabilty using a skill and insured workforce.

What would make you consider changing to another company?

In this economy, price is king so a lower price at the same quality or the same price at a higher quality.

Not really planning on changing because I love our lawn guy and the service, but telling you what they do right can only help you.

I like that my lawn always well taken care of, I don't have to tell them what needs to be done, the edging is perfectly straight, they clean up, they make recommendations for new plants, once in a while I get nice freebees, like a pretty rock in the front flowerbeds, they do my christmas lights, they hang my spring flower baskets during spring cleanup, well ... the owner of the company treats my lawn like it is his, he just takes great care of it.

However, I may be interested in a pond next year, if that is something you do.

I was just noticing this week how beautiful your yard is! If I had a lawn, I definitely hire your guy!

yep, and it sure would be great if we'd actually get some Sun for a few days - so all my day lilies would bloom, rahter than get larger and larger in width and green...
