The mowers left our back gate open yesterday and our pomeranian ran out. He is a blond pom, weighs around 10 lbs and answers to the name Baxter. If you have seen him or have him please email me at cmcneme@hotmail.com. Thanks for your help!

We are in the Overland Park area. Some people in our neighborhood saw him cross Broadlands around 530 yesterday afternoon. Noone has seen him since.

We recently got our dog back after he ran away in the Sterling Park area. He was gone for 15 days before we found him. We got loads of suggestions, but by far the best one we got was to flyer the hell out of the area. We took a color 8 1/2 x 11 flyer and put it on a 11x13 fluorescent poster. We then covered them with clear drawer liner. We had about 120 of those up. We got so many calls of people who saw our dog. Leads are what you need and you're not going to get them without signs or an ad in the paper.
If Baxter is gone for a little longer, I have the name and contact info for a women from Baltimore that is a dog tracker. She uses her golden retrievers (who were crossed-trained to search for pets instead of people) to find your dog. She came out twice to help us find Chance. She works on a "pay as much as you can" basis as it's a hobby for her. http://www.puregoldpettrackers.com.
I wish you all the luck in the world in finding little Baxter. I know JUST what you're going through.
