Here's a little something to ease you into the holiday spirit this weekend - Handel's Messiah!

The Loudoun Chorale, under the direction of William Propst, will perform George Frederick Handel's "Messiah" December 3 and 4. The 60-member Chorale will be accompanied by Beverly Clark and a chamber ensemble. Soloists from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music will be featured.

Concert dates, times and locations are as follows:

Saturday, December 3, 7:30 p.m., St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 711 W. Main St., Purcellville, VA

Sunday, December 4, 4:00 p.m., Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 605 W. Market St., Leesburg, VA

The Loudoun Chorale is Loudoun County's oldest choral music ensemble. Formed in 1991, the Chorale consists of about 60 mixed voice singers. The Chorale performs at various venues in Loudoun County, including the Waterford Fair, and outside of Loudoun County, including the National Cathedral.

Following the concert, the audience is invited to enjoy a dessert and hors d'oeuvres reception with Chorale members. General admission tickets are $10; $8 Seniors; $5 Youth; Children 12 and Under FREE.
