Does anyone have experience with Loudoun Physicians for Women in Sterling, and in particular, Dr. Wever and if so, what is your opinion of the practice? I have a relative that will be going for a consultation there and I am trying to find out more information about this office.

They delivered both of my daughters - Dr. Brown delivered our older in 2005 and Dr. Freeman (she changed her name from Wever after her marriage, I believe) delivered our younger in 2008. She went above and beyond for me that day, which I really appreciate.

I have nothing but good things to say about the practice - all four of the doctors are great.

I go to their practice in Leesburg and really like all 4 doctors. Dr. Mills delivered my son in October and was fantastic!

Dr. Brown delivered my daughter in January. I really like Drs. Brown and Mills. Allen is okay, but I did not like Freeman/Wever at all. Even though it's against their policy, I refused to see her for any of my prenatal appointments.

I use their Leesburg office - Dr. Willoughby (who has retired) delivered my daughter four years ago. I've seen all of the physicians there but I prefer Dr. Allen. I also like Dr. Brown too but run into her too often at places like the hair salon to feel completely comfortable :) Dr. Freeman(Wever) is a good doctor but I felt rushed by her which is why since I'm not longer doing the having babies thing, I switched.

I had really bad experiences with Wever both times I saw her, beyond just feeling rushed. I saw her for a well woman visit about 2 years ago, then one of my prenatal visits early on in my pregnancy this time, and like I said, I absolutely refused to see her again. PM me for details, but let's just say that if you're pregnant and at all overweight, Wever's going to be rude to you and push you for a lot of unneccessary testing. I understand that being overweight carries some risks, but this was above and beyond normal concern.

I will say that everyone's experience is different. I did not have that experience with Dr. Wever and was (am) more than a little overweight. After going through two pregnancies with the practice I definitely have my favorites but felt comfortable enough with all of the doctors.
