Missing (stolen) Trash Can

    Hey guys,

    I came home Tuesday and noticed that the my trash can was not at the curb. I thought at the time, my wife had brought the trash can in. Then today My wife asks if I've seen the trash can[:0]. It looks like someone stole my trash can. Anyone know how I go about getting a new trash can? BTW - I live in Single Family home on Ellzey.

    Easiest way is to go to AAA's website and order it online. That's what we did to get a new recycle bin and we had it in about a week. I don't remember the web address, but a quick google will find it.

    QUICK REMINDER - they should NOT charge you any monthly fee for any new trash toter ... its included in the monthly HOA dues.

    FWIW .. mine went missing too. Mine had a top that had a cracked hinge. Don't know if they had their people looking for older toters that could use replacing.

    The lid on my trashcan was missing when I got home on Tuesday. They are supposed to replace it today or next Friday.

    I am assuming the lid got ripped off and is now in the dump. How can you not notice the lid getting ripped off? I guess they didn't want to reach in the trash to recover it.

    Mine went missing two weeks ago as well. I assumed that AAA had picked it up to replace it - who would steal a trash can. When a new one didn't show up the next trash day I called AAA. Then hadn't picked it up - must have been stolen - but they sent out a new one about a week later. Sounds like we have a serial trash can thief in the neighborhood.

    just an update...I called AAA and they replaced my trash can in about week.
