Call New Vision and they will repalce it with one of the largers ones. One of the complaints some of the townhomes were giving were that the toaters were too big so this is the smallest ones they provided. If you want a larger on you just need to call them give them your name and address and let them know which size you would like they have 96, 64 and 48 gallons available (what you have should be the 48 gallon one. New Visions number is 703 830 7908.

Most information that you need is available on page 11 of the April newsletter or at the following link http://www.broadlandshoa.org/newsletter/2006/04.pdf on page 11

    hope this helps

I just got off the phone with Maureen in the HOA office. She said that NV has not finished delivering, and she is still faxing them twice a day with addresses that have been missed. My street and the 2 streets in the same grouping have seen neither toters nor recycling bins so far. We'll see.

Most of the people on my street also do not have toters. A few do, so they must have called. I called the HOA office earlier this week to let them know.

Maybe those of you who received small toters could wait to return them until everyone gets one. Some of us who want the small one may get the big one and vice versa. Then, maybe we could all get together for a "Toter Swap Meet" somewhere???

There should be a moratorium on swapping toters or getting more bins until everyone at least has one.

Excellent idea - smithers! - Seriously you do have a good point, it does seem unfair to swap/upgrade a trotter while some homeowners have not received one to swap.

I received my toter yesterday. My neighbors did not get one, so it must be because I called the HOA. Mine was the small one - actually the perfect size for a TH - I don't hit it when I squeeze the car into the garage.

Also, some additional recycling bins were distributed yesterday. They are Rubbermaid, and are not marked as recycling bins, but they will serve the purpose.

If anyone wants a full size toter, I'll swap it for one of the small ones that were delivered to the townhouses.
    Let me know.

Still nada, zip, bupkis, no can no bin on my street. This is after I called twice and a Board member put our street on the HOAs list to fax in. What's going on?

So, can we call in for a whole street, not just our own address? I'm the only one on my street who has one but I called in. I'm pretty sure most of our street is clueless about the change. And, I'll be the one chasing the trash down the road. :D

Call the HOA office and let them know.

Here's how to tell if your neighbor's are clueless:

If they still put out their trash on Tuesday's & Friday's ...

I called the HOA about our street, Hunters Green Square, as well. It looks like only a few people at one end of the street received them. Not sure why nobody else did...

Nobody on Falling Rock Terrace got toters either. I called the HOA on Friday. We'll see how long it takes. I could really use the recycling bin, but I can wait for the toter.

Yep, that's a sure sign! Along with the ones that still put out the AAA toter. But, there is one that just doesn't care.

Come on...how difficult can this really be? I can understand that they had supplier problems, but you would think that they could get their act together after three weeks or so! I am willing to give them a chance, but this does not bode well for their business sense. How can you feel confident with any company that can't even handle the simple distribution of trash cans and recycling bins. Because they also need to be sure to then visit all of these same houses/townhouses and pick up the trash! Can they handle that?

I got my toter a couple of weeks ago, but still no recycling bins. I called the HOA on Friday, and was told that we may get them on Monday. Guess what! NOT!!!

Call the HOA office and let the staff know what street you're on, and if anyone else on the street did or did not receive recycling bins.

True ... once you get a NV can, they may haul that one away !! Or, you can use it until you ask for a new one from NV.
