New "Information Sign" by entrance

    Anyone notice the new "Information Sign" as you enter Broadlands going south on Claiborne, on the right?

    I think it's a great idea, only problem is that it's so close to the big "Broadlands" landscaping border just ahead of it...

    Basically, you have no time to read it as you drive through. I was driving at 35mph and I only had about 1sec to read it.

    I think the sign should be moved furthur 'in' on Claiborne...Maybe a couple hundred feet, giving drivers plenty of time to safely read the sign. Right now, I think it's a driving hazzard...

    For a good example, take a look at the Ashburn Farms HOA sign on Claiborne when leaving Broadlands (going north). It's after the Greenway and is far enough to give plenty of time for drivers to read it safely...

    Anyone have any thoughts?

    Hi-
    That was the best place we could find for it. With all the various right-of-ways, sign ordinances, etc., finding a spot was tough.
    We may cut back on the landscaping in front of the sign to make it more visible.
