These t-shirts are the best! People at Landsdowne and Belmont would love these too!

Not a bad marketing gimmick for you, shim, but at $20 for a T-shirt we should be calling you the "Openbandit T-shirt Bandit!"

    Pats Fan,

I noticed the t-shirts are made in the USA. Cost a little more but they're non-toxic. Shim can easily drop $20 at ColdStone so not really fazed by the cost when it's for a good cause.

It looks like all the products are around $5 more than the base price for a custom cafepress.com shirt so whoever set up the "openbandit" storefront would be profiting about the same $5 per shirt. Certainly there is nothing wrong with that, but I suspect Pats_fan's comment was geared towards one making a buck (shirt logo designer) off of direct criticism of how another (openband) makes their buck.

At least we can choose to NOT buy the shirt. I wish we had that option with Openband.

The profit is not $5 bucks! It's $3, big deal. I'm not a techy so the task of creating the t-shirt was difficult and it took me a great deal of time! My time is worth money. Isn't yours?
    :victory:
I made the t-shirt so that OpenBand and VanMetre would feel a some pressure from us the consumer, at the meetings!
You are right! If you don't want to spend the money don't!
I think the t-shirt's message is fitting!

I took it off because people were mean!!! If you want to purchase a t-shirt I can reopen the store. I thought it was a good idea and that it would get the message across. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks for your interest.:)

Shim, I thought it was all just play from myself and Pats_fan as it seemed you were playing as well in giving the image the item was something you stumbled across and not something you created and were pushing as it was fairly obvious otherwise. Honestly I thought your idea and product were both rather creative and I'd hate to think our playing was misunderstood as being offensive and ultimately the reason you closed the shop. If this is the case, then I apologize. If folks want the shirt, then certainly bring it back.

Skim- I would be more than happy to place an order for 10 - and GIVE THEM away to homeowners that attend the meeting. I agree with others, that this is a great idea and pretty darn creative. Please let me know if you take paypal or I can always drop by cash.

Considering that Openband is working on our 2008 pricing - I would be more than willing to wear the shirt like a moo-moo or a T-shirt dress...can I order an XL?

    Thanks
