I'm going to a concert at the DAR Constitution Hall and I've never been there. Anyone have recommendations for restaurants not too far out of range from there and any parking suggestions? I really do not want to take the metro on a Saturday night. Thanks!

Not sure about the parking, but know there are tons of garages nearby for a low, low price ;). If you enjoy sushi, then I highly recommend Kaz (1915 I). Head in via Whitehurst onto K. You'll be about six blocks away at that point so it's walkable if you decide to go ahead and park first.

The Foie Gras sushi is remarkable... as is just about anything you get here.

There used to be a wood-fired pizza joint right around dupont that was to die for, but I can't recall the name of it and that was years ago so not even sure if it's still around.

We drove to a concert this past Sunday and it was a piece of cake. Unfortunately, all the parking garages were closed. We drove around for about 10 minutes and finally found a spot not too far away from DAR on 18th St. I'd suggest you head to Constitution Ave., turn left on 18th, and take the first spot you can find.

As for restaurants...we just wanted to sit and have a drink so we went to a sports bar called The Exchange. Took us less than 10 minutes to walk to DAR from there.

They sell adult beverages at DAR and you can take them to your seat. Get your drink(s) early because the lines were loooooooong. Have fun!

As for restaurants, you can walk across the white house and go to Old Ebbits Grill, M&S Grill, Oceanaire, Potenza, etc.
