This has to be the slowest most disorganized operation I have ever seen the county do. They must only work like 2 hours a day during rush hour. It's a joke.

Here's a crazy idea. How about using the fancy/expensive software to identify which roads MIGHT need repaving. Then send actual human beings to look at those roads in person and make a judgement call on whether or not the need is actually there. I think any rational person would have looked at the vast majority of Claiborne and come to the conclusion that it wouldn't need to be repaved for at least another couple of years. The only stretch that seemed to be in very poor shape was North of the Broadlands Blvd traffic light (the stretch that goes under the Greenway). That was pretty torn up and could have been taken care of at a fraction of the price this must cost.

Unfortunately as somebody already mentioned, I have a feeling this mostly has to do with making sure to use up as much transportation budget as possible so it doesn't get cut next year.

Any bets on how many more months it will be until they finish this job?

They are finally working on the intersection of Claiborne and Ashburn Farm Pkwy today, although of course, they'd completely closed the intersection - with no warning.

What do the Vegas oddsmakers favor as being completed first? Paving on Claiborne or Phase II of the Silver Line?

They've been working on the intersection of Claiborne and Broadlands for over a month now.

    What a complete joke.

I just came back from a trip that lasted 2 weeks. I thought for sure they would be done by now. I could not believe it when the taxi turned onto Claiborne and they still weren't done. This has been going on for what almost 2 months????
