phone books

    is there any way to "opt out" of getting phone books? they seem like such a waste in our household, and i'm curious about how much people really use them anymore. i'm thinking there is no way to say, thanks but no thanks (and save a tree and the environment!)?

    You can try looking at the front part of the phonebook and see if there's a contact number for the 'publisher' that you can call?

    Brings up an interesting conundrum; you try to find the phone number of a phonebook publisher in their phonebook and can't find it :p

    i use them on my kitchen plant shelves to elevate plants or decor...covered by a cloth no one knows!

    Yep never really found the community phone book really helpful. But the big yellow book we do keep and use from time to time. Recyle them in your bins if you don't want them
