We have an Epson all-in-one printer (copy, scan, print). The problem is when we try to print a photo onto photo paper, it will print about 1/5 of the way but then the printer will spit out the paper and not finish the printing. I've checked all of the settings (type of paper, paper size, quality, etc) and they are all correct. I've also checked the cartridge status (alignment, cleaning, ink level, etc) and they are all fine. What could be causing this?

I"ve usually seen this occur when there is not enough memory for the system to process a print job. Not knowing the specifics of the computer, theres not much more I can go on.

What I can advise it to check to see if theres a newer print driver available from Epson for download. Sometimes the update fixes issues like this.

I had this happen with a photo printer I'd connected to a USB hub. Once I connected it straight to the PC, everything worked well. I suspect it was just a crappy hub that kept losing sync on the USB connection.
If you have a hub, try taking it out of the loop.
