Pick up Basketball Thurs 9/7 6pm near Nature Center

We have agreed to try to get together for pick up basketball in the neighborhood. We are meeting Thursday, September 7th at 6pm at the basketball courts by the Nature Center (near SW walk pool and tennis courts). Please tell others if you are interested, and please come even if you can't make it until 6:30pm.

We will try to make this a weekly event, every Thursday. So even if you are reading this post late, come by on Thursday at 6pm.

I'll be there. I don't get off work in Fairfax til 5pm so it takes about 45 minutes to get home. so i might be there around 6:15. Do i need to bring a ball or will someone else have one?

 

The more balls the better, in case we are short. I do not have a great ball, but will bring my best.

I just happened to buy a new ball the other day..I should be able to get there.

 

where have you people been all summer? Soon it will be dark by 6pm. But that shouldn't be for a few more weeks. I'll be out there.

 

I'll get a new ball tomorrow, need new laces for shoes anyways. I'll make sure I bring a light colored shirt as well, since I'll have a grey one on, just in case teams are uneven.

I am not sure how many people are coming, looks like five or six affirmative responses, and maybe a few others might come as well. I am looking forward to playing some ball no matter what. If we have to play three on three, then so be it. Hopefully it will grow if we try to spread the word.

Hey all. Glad I was able to play for 30 minutse before I tweaked my knee. Guess I gotta do some more rehab on my knee, and get back out there, just be a bit more easy on it.
