Please Be Respectful!!!

Dear Fellow Broadlands Residents...Please be respectful of your neighbors and trash collectors. Yes, I understand it is exceptionally windy and difficult to secure every piece of trash and recycling, but come on...the amount of loose trash and recycling blowing down the streets is ridiculous! I just spent the last hour picking up others trash and recycling. It is easy to place your trash and recyclables in bags so that when your cans blow over, there are not shreds of paper and empty bottles blowing throughout the neighborhood. And isn't it ironic, the very ones whose trash is blowing around are the ones that hardly clean up. Not to beat a dead horse, but hopefully one day the message will get through. Thank you!

 

So, I bet you were not the guy that I saw kicking the trash out of his driveway and into the street. It took him more energy to keep kicking the trash down his driveway than to actually pick it up.
