Prowler Incidents on rise

Hi Everyone,
The Ashburn Prowler incidents are on the rise. There was another one reported this week. I heard a LC police on the radio this week and they stated there have been 10+ reports since July. Several of these reports have been in the Ashburn Farm area.

Please be mindful when out at dusk or late night. Please report any suspicious activity to LC police.

i always marvel at people- especially women- walking/jogging alone at dusk or after dark. someone up to no good sees that as an opportunity, and many of our roads are near trees or don't have enough traffic that it's not a huge risk for a potential attacker to make a move.

same with leaving doors, garages and windows open- no one and no neighborhood is immune to crime, and creating opportunities by being complacent is asking for trouble. be safe neighbors, and let's look out for one another! (without being overly NOSY, of course... lol)

guess we're changing our locks...how can you watch that and not?

 

We have monitronics and are well pleased. We do have motion sensor, as well as fire alarm.
