Need Advice Question about Ashburn Pediatrics

    Is it possible to actually get someone on the phone for an appointment in a timely fashion? We're thinking of switching to them, but the last few times I called it's taking 10-15 minutes to get someone on the phone and then I just get put on hold again promptly. I've never had such a hard time with any office getting a hold of someone. Can anyone give me some feedback on this and your experiences with them?? Thanks!!

    Sorry to hear that. I have never faced this. For me, it has always taken < 4 min to get someone on line and to get appointment.

    Same thing here, but we don't want to leave them because they're so awesome with the kids. I would say the majority of the time I don't have to wait that long, but there are times when it's 10+ minutes before I talk to anyone. Speaking of, thanks for the reminder...I have to schedule my son's check up!

    i've never run into that issue either. Perhaps it's one of those weeks that a ton of kids are sick and they are answering lots of calls and unfortunately you are stuck on hold for a while.

    our family has been happy with the practice--both doctors and nurses are friendly and helpful.

    We have been going there for 15 years. On mondays it is a long wait to get a person on the phone. when you call, you should get the machine and then you are on hold. i have held for over 15 mins. but...... we love them! they have more office space now, so don't have to wait as long for an appointment as you did a few years ago.
    honestly, it can be frustrating at times, but again, we love our doctors. Dr, Reilly makes you and your kids feel like she loves them. Dr. Pagan is so soft and caring. The rest are wonderful too! The nurses are caring and loving as well! i can't say enough how much we like this office. (and as a side note, i have 3 children - one with special needs.)

    Thanks, good to hear the docs are good, and it's closer to home than where we were going. By the time I got someone on the phone yesterday I had been holding for 19 minutes!

    When I called yesterday they changed their appointment making procedures. If you're scheduling a well visit, you leave a message and someone calls you back in 24-48 hrs. If you need a sick visit, you get put through to the receptionist. I left a message and the office called me back after 3:00 to make the appt. It wasn't bad. Sure beats the 10+ minute hold!!!!!

    Don't know if other practices have it also - but the walk-in hours in the morning are great. You can have your sick visit and be done before you'd even be able to start calling... We have been very happy there.

    We've used them for over 6 years and never encountered this problem. And I agree that the walk in hours in the morning are spectacular.

    I've used them for just under 3 years and have experienced the extremely long hold times on many occasions. However, it only happened first thing in the morning when they first open the phone lines, and more often on Monday mornings. I've never had the problem later in the day.
