Is 2 GB really sufficient for Vista Home or would I be a lot better off with 3GB? I'm only doing internet, Office 2007, photos, Broadlands forum  and some kids on-line games - nothing fancy. I'm looking at an HP Slimline (I really like the footprint of the Slimline) but to upgrade from 2GB to 4GB memory would cost close to $300 since there are only two slots. Any advice would be appreciated.

2gigs is fine - but don't buy the memory from HP unless its a special included for free, etc. Memory is so much cheaper 3rd party and easy to install. It's so easy, a caveman could do it :D

2x2gig DIMMs are commonly under $100 if you know how to shop. or know geeks that can :)

2 gigs is fine, purchased a HP laptop for Christmas with 2G and running Vista Home with Aero enabled and its fine for internet, office, photos, etc.
