Rcommended Storage Facility

    Any opinions good, bad or ugly for any of the local storage facilities here in Ashburn? We have to clear out our basement full of "stuff" while it is being finished. We don't want to use PODS (or similar) since we will need to get in/out frequently enough. Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post any specifics.

    we had a pretty good experience with the self storage next to the resturant park on waxpool (public storage? I forget their brand). You can also save money if you are willing to go further away.. plays like Chantilly are cheaper then Ashburn, etc.

    The people at this storage place were very accomodating for us and the rate we were paying for a 5x10 was comparable or close to the best in the immediate area when I was shopping.

    They have regular and climate controlled units. Management staff is great to deal with and the units are very clean.

    I also like Guardian. I have used them for 5 years and know the owner (a local guy). I highly recommend this facility.

    Yup.. Guardian thanks for that Echogirl. They were very accommodating to our changing schedules and even needing to move between units, etc. Very pleasant experience for us and reasonably priced.

    I used the one south of 7 just west of Rt 28. The people live there as I seem to remember in housing built on the property, everyone was helpful and friendly, the place was kept clean and you can get climate controlled.
