Need Advice Recumbent Bicycle

I would be very interested in cooresponding to anyone who has a Recumbent Bicycle.

With various injuries a traditional bicycle does not work well for me. I *think* that a Recumbent Bicycle might work for me but I am not sure.

There is a place in Vennia that rents Recumbents that I will be checking out later this spring. But in the mean time, I would like to hear from those who actually ride Recumbents.

I would appreciate insight into Wheelbase, Steering, and front/rear drive options.

BTW I am not interested in racing, just looking for a way to get rid of some tonnage and perhaps do something nice to my heart.

i have one too you can try as well- used it for rehab on my ankle. i no longer use it- I am not good at sitting in one place to exercise! but it was great for my purposes....
