If you've used this service (gift certificates for select restaurants, with a minimum purchase), would you recommend it? It seems like a great option, but it's always better to hear first-hand feedback! Lots of restaurants in this area participate -- Broadlands Pub, Cafe Opera, Nagoya, to name a few -- so it's great for the local economy, too :)

I use it ... just redeemed a certificate at the Dock a couple of days ago with no problem. I go through Upromise first and then in to restaurant.com. I pay between $3 - 4.00 on a $25.00 certificate depending on what the current upromise order is. Also a percentage of the initial certificate purchase goes in to my upromise account.

I actually won a certificate for $100 there and found it impossible to use. I think it's expired. Granted I'm a picky eater and wouldn't go to Broadlands Pub, but would have used it at Cafe Opera, for example but it was only good, say, Monday thru Thursday and dine in only. That just didn't work for me.
