So who do you think wins the World Series, the Rockies or the Red Sox ? As a Nationals fan, I have no real rooting interest but am intrigued by the matchup. It will be interesting to see if Colorado can continue with its winning ways after a 9 day layoff. I think the Sox have the advantage on paper, but I'm picking the Rockies in 6.

It's actually not the Rockies 1st time in postseason (just their first year in which they have won a series). I have no beef with the Sox -- in fact, I have kind of pulled for them over the years as the alternative to the dreaded Yankees. If you have watched the Rockies at all this postseason, I don't think you would discount their chances.

I understand that you are rooting for the Sox, but do you think they will win ? I was torn watching the Sox vs. the Indians -- on the one hand, it would have been nice to see the Cleveland fans have a winner for the first time since 1948 (I'm sure Sox fans can sympathize) but on the other hand the playoffs are more interesting when Boston is playing (there is nothing like seeing Fenway or Wrigley at playoff time).

As a die-hard Sox fan, I can and do sympathize for Cleveland fans. They are a very likeable team and there isn't another team I would have wanted to make it to the World Series if it wasn't the Red Sox.

I'm optimistic about the Sox' chances, but I'll freely admit that I know nothing about the Rockies. Every streak has to come to an end at some point, right? Why not now?

I watch a lot of National League ball and I have to admit that I didn't see this coming with the Rockies (who wins 20 out of 21 games -- it's insane), but they do have some really good hitters (Matt Holiday might be the NL MVP), this kid Troy Tulowitzki is a really good hitter and a very good shortstop, and they have gotten really good pitching the second half of the year. I realize that in general the American League is stronger, but I think this series is a very even matchup.

Think the Sox will win, but I want the Rockies. First time there, incredible run, underdogs...plus watching the Sox lose is just like seeing Philadelphia teams lose--it makes you happy to see their fans so upset :)

I love Fenway, but have had a little too much of "the Nation" the past couple years.

Not to rub it in, but DirecTV now has TBS (and about 40 new channels) in HD, with many more coming in the next couple of months.

Although TBS didn't have any cute on-field reporters, so you didn't miss as much as you might have...

I may end up getting Direct TV just for the HD channel lineup alone!
