    husband and i ate at amvrosia for lunch today. the gyros were sooooooo good. the coffee was fresh and aromatic. the hummus was delish. 2 thumbs up.

    Th Blackthorne Inn in Uperville is great, Irish-owned and a true country house appeal with roaring log fires, you can rent a cabin for the night there too. The food is good, nothing fancy but the location and real pub feel is great.

    Just wanted to ask for clarification. Is "The Potomac Club" referencing "On the Potomac" or "The Crooked Billet" which is the private restaurant for the country club folks. My understanding is that guests of the resort can dine at The Crooked Billet so some locals (and members of course) have checked it out.
