Has anyone heard an update on the tenants for the phase under construction?

I know Damon's bailed and is being replaced by the Wing Factory/Original Steak House boys, who are going to open Lucky's, a sports bar. Talk about a major disappointment/downgrade.

Ledo's and Chipotle were listed a couple years back, and I really hope Ledo's is still in the ballgame. Now that Moe's is coming to Ashburn, I could care less about Chipotle.

 

It is too bad about Damon's backing out. I hope the Applebee's is still coming. It looks like the restaurant on the site plan where Ledo's is supposed to be is going up quickly now and it looks about the size of a Ledo's. There is a Ledo's downtown near where I work and it's OK for lunch (since there isn't much else in that area), but would never pick their pizza or subs over what some of the other places we already have offer.

 

I like Ledo's because their pizza has a different taste to it than most places. It's a little sweeter, which may not be a positive to some pizza fans, but at least it doesn't taste like everyone else's pizza. I certainly wouldn't describe it as the best pizza I ever had, but I like it. Plus it's cheap and casual so it's easy to take the kids.

Speaking of pizza... I noticed that (and this isn't new) there is a Cici's in Chantilly. I'm not a big Cici's fan except as a nostalgia thing - we had one in my college town and for those on a budget of close to zero, it was the perfect place! Where else can you get all you can eat pizza buffet for $3.99? Those were the days - in college I knew where all the cheap foods were, be it pizza, free buffet at the local country bar, Grandy's, Sonic, etc.

 

I read the Loudoun Times Mirror and the owners of the OSH and Wing Factory say they are not going into that location but they are opening a location in Springfield. I also heard this from the owner himself when we ate there 2 or so weeks ago. Good Time Good Food and Freindly service. Didnt notice much difference from the old owners except now open for lunch!!

By the way I didnt know that they owned the Damons of of Route 50 also. Thats pretty impressive

 

Can anyone find a working and updated link to the Ryan Park site plan? It is now clear where Chipotle is going, but I'm wondering what those two buildings are going to be? One looks like it be a bank or a gas station -- something like that with the overhang. The one next to it -- will that be the Red Robin? Parking is going to be brutal right there unless that area by Chevy Chase where the ground has yet to be broken will be parking.

 

As far as I know, there is a Thai place going in as well as Red Robbin. I am putting a Subway in the office building next to Kaiser. Fitness First is taking over the majority of the second floor. There is also other retail and food on the first floor. I am not sure of the tenants. The Chipotle is going in right when you turn into Giant. There are two different landlords for this area.

Does anyone know when a traffic signal is going in at the intersection of Ryan and Shellhorn (currently 4 way stop)?
