Safeway Center update

This may be a bit "un-pc" but I would love to see some type of pub. It would be nice to have a place to go, watch a ball game, eat some wings and have a cold frosty one within walking distance.

Clyde's will have a bar. If it's like the one in DC it will be pub like and very nice.

 

Since there is no light at Claiborne, it would be too dangerous to walk there.

LOL! You're right about that!

 

It looks as if the ABC store may have been open. Just went by there and it's fully stocked and the neon signs are on. There is a handwritten sign saying "temporarily closed". May be open soon though! Woo-Hoo!

And there is a sign posting it's Xmas holiday hours so it will be open by Xmas!

 

I was just at the shopping center as well. There was an electrician working in the ABC store. It looks VERY close to opening.

 

Went by there the fri after thanksgiving and I couldn't find it. Glad to hear it's about to open. Running low on Jack and need a refill.

The ABC store is now open. Just bought my first fifth there!

Just gave the ABC store some business today (and the new Blockbuster)! Anybody know what the hold up is on the Safeway gas station?

 

I can walk there! woo-hoo! No more having to drive out when I'm dry!

 

It's a full 1/3 mi for us, so we still have to drive, darn it, especially with the way that we load up the sport ute at the ABC store!

 

I see you're maximizing the potential of your vehicle...driving a whole 1/3mi in an SUV to go to the liquor store.

 

My day-to-day car is a gas sipper with a little inline 4, and I get 32 MPG, thank you very much! However, since we're the "evil," "vile," and "degraceful" people who go to the ABC store on occasion, we have to take the sport ute just to be able to fit in enough alcohol to satisfy our deplorable desires.

 

Oh, I'm not saying anything about drinking...drink up! I just hate SUVs.

 

I'm no fan either, but ours is helpful since it now looks like we live in the snow belt. Also, ours isn't anyhting as outrageous as a Hummer.

 

There's a hummer on my street. They can't fit it in the garage! It's bigger than the opening.

So there's a sign in front of the Safeway Center saying it is now 100% leased. Anyone know who the last 3 stores belong to? If it's another place for women, I'm gonna scream. There's an Easy Color, Ladies Workout Express, Nail Salon, and Aesthetica Day Spa, and some other hair salon... I didn't think the women in the area needed that much help!
