Thanks for the scoop on what happened at BW, andrewhoya. Glad the classwork was beneficial even if not regular teaching. Probably varied by class, with some classes less productive. And it seems there were some mixed messages, poor communication that maybe led seniors to stay away thinking they'd get busy work when there was actual decent work. Again, thanks for filling us in.

I work at one of LoCo's middle schools and yes, the students were able to take the exams if needed; some teachers still gave a quiz/test to help because grades weren't due till this past Friday. I had some students still making up whatever Friday afternoon; teachers moved on to new material; everything was handled professionally; in my opinion.

Winter is not over, the county will deal with it as it comes...already the students are in school an extra 30 or so minutes than everyone else in the surrounding counties.

Not everyone will agree with whatever the county does; they are damned if they do and damned if they don't!!!!:yuck:

PS I think MOST of the private schools follow a certain county surrounding them, so when they close, so does that private school!!!

My pleasure. Yes, some classes were productive, while some were not (although, the ones that were not productive were not productive in the first place).

I work in Leesburg, and have coworkers who go to Heritage...If they wanted to make exams up, they had to do so on their own time, and not during class. That would have been ten times better.
