I've heard good things about Minton's Music but I think you have to go there to take the lessons.

A&A music is good (in Brambelton). David is one of their instructors I would recommend especially for a beginner.

I'll add that I have a nylon string classical guitar that my daughter used just one year that is perfect for a beginner. I'm asking $90 OBO.;)

Wow, thanks for all the options. I never knew there were so many instructors.

We're set to give Mintons a go next week. I'm going to see how it is - I like that they provide lessons for so many instruments. Diana - thanks for the offer of the guitar. It sounds like a great deal but Santa left one for my son at Christmas.

Once again thanks for the advice.
