Am I the only one literally chomping at the bit waiting for a true Spring to arrive? I am sooooo sick and tired of this dreary and ever changing weather. I'm ready to be able to come home in the evening, bbq, sit on the deck and watch the clouds go by!!! Anyone else?

I was pleased to see the snow showers this morning. The snow didn't start until after I got to work, it provided a pretty cool "show" from the comfort of my office, and it has now stopped. In addition, the streets have dried off, preventing any adverse effects on my commute. You couldn't ask for a better snow storm than that.

Oh, and I was happy to see the rain today, too. It gave my car a good washing, which sorely needed it after all the crap that got on it during last week's storms. I'm glad I didn't waste any time/money washing it this weekend!

I guess you could call me a glass half-full guy. That said, I'm ready for spring to begin in earnest! :)

Try living in Buffalo - I grew up there....sun hardly ever comes out up there in the winter. This climate is an improvement - I'm still waiting for winter here. ;) I'm ready for Spring as well - just hope we HAVE a Spring and not go immediately into HOT/HUMID weather.

Actually my husband and I went golfing about 3 weeks ago at Goose Creek. It was GREAT! But like you, I can't wait to be able to go regularly again.

Just let me know when...we'd love to let you see the curtains and really eyeball our darn garage! :)

Yeah, I agree, I cant stand the humidity in summer either.

Actually, I dont mind the winter.... I just hate wind, uugggghhh. It is just brutal.
This ice/snow/rain thing we had yesterday. It was a pain but this is not so bad compared to up north.
Those people are reeeally sick of winter.

    Be well, everyone. stay healthy.

I just love to hear Virginian's say "I can't stand the humidity." LOL!

Sorry, but I grew up in Georgia, spending a fair part of my summers in Savannah. You ain't seen nothin'!! You know it's humid when you walk outside, look at the sky, and you've already started sweating. =)

All in all, I think Virginia is a pretty nice climate. Winter is snowy but not excessive; Summer is warm/hot, but not blazing. The only thing that bothers me is the blasted Winter Wind from the North....

Humidity? Try living in New Delhi during the monsoon season when it is 140 degrees in the shade and 100 per cent humidity! Actually though, I'm one of those rare people who actually enjoy it hot and hotter! [8D]
