No bluff on our end - Deputy Mitchell has already viewed the video and no as of this morning at 6AM the two missing signs are still MIA - clock is ticking he has less than 13 hours to return them - otherwise tomorrow morning I turn over the DVD video of our security camera to Loudoun Co Sheriff's. Kids choice - not mine

 

Good luck with the Sheriff's. I can't imagine they are so slow that they would put any effort into investigating 2 missing signs with a value of less than $50.

 

- well considering one of the kids is the same kid that broke into our car over the summer (and had the charges deferred - unless he broke the terms of the agreement - which he did) - the Sheriff's office are more than willing to assist - get your facts straight before you make your silly little remarks.

i'm amazed that someone hwo LIVES in the neigborhood would be so disdainful of punishing kids committing crimes! it's not the VALUE of the item it's the VALUES of the thief... geez.

guess up on one will have to be bothered by these brats before realizing how easy it is for them to go from ring and run at 2am up to stealing, vandalizing and committing felonies- see our stolen mailbox.

Perhaps you didn't mean for your comment to be taken this way, but from my standpoint as an impartial observer, my initial thoughts when reading your posts were -- "sounds like its coming from one of the kids who stole the sign..."

Well - I decided to come home from work early and what do you know the 2 remaining signs with 2 notes/letter of apology were in my mailbox.

So for the three kids that took the signs - I accept your apology and I am very proud of each of you for making a right out of a wrong - that takes a lot of courage to admit to your mistakes.

Kids - please be carefull in the future other homeowners in Southernwalk also have security cameras and maybe they wont give you an opportunity to correct a wrong. Thank you again to the three kids that returned the signs with their letters of apology - all is forgiven, DVD has been destroyed and the case is closed. - no need to get the Sheriff involved.

Hmmm......not sure there's somethng here to be proud of. They wouldn't have returned them or apologized if you didn't have proof they had done it and were about to be handed over to the police.
Have you heard anything from the parents about what THEY will do to help ensure this does not happen again?

 

you obviously are making things up. because you have no idea what happened, i can sure as hell tell you it didnt happen at 1:00 something in the morning, which means maybe your making up the whole surveillance camera thing. and you dont know who the people were, AT ALL. you have no personal relation as you say you do. and none of the people broke into your damn car this summer. quit perceiving yourself to be some constant victim, because honestly the things you are saying are the total and complete wrong stories. you shouldnt blabber about something you arent positive about.
