Has anybody noticed that there have been more skunk road kills this year? There was one in LoCo Parkway (near Waxpool) last week and another one (near Shellhorn) this morning.

Is there a govt agency to call (to move it to the side of the road)?

    Thanks.

No one says you cannot move it yourself. Just use some disposable gloves. The vultures will thank you.
Generally, if a dead deer is on a VDOT roadway, they will come out and move the carcass to the side of the road, unless that has changed...

"Carcass Removal from RoadwaysThe Loudoun County Department of Animal Services does not pick up or remove carcasses. Please contact the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) if the carcass is located on a road or shoulder of a road. If the carcass is not on a road, it is the property owner’s responsibility to have it removed if he/she wishes for it to be removed."
