I am so tired! I prefer to sleep on my side. Maybe because I drool and sleeping on my side allows for maximum drainage onto the pillow. My wife is a back sleeper which means she snores. She actually snores in any position, but on her back is where she gets that deep, guttural snore. I kick her, hit her, bop her with a pillow..anything to make it stop for like 5 minutes...but nothing works... Maybe this is why I am always tired? Also, I like to flip my pillow a few times during the night. Nothing like flipping it over and feeling that coolness against my face. It is a must that I be completely covered up by the comforter, almost to the point of mummification. No body parts exposed, this ensures both extreme comfort and protection from a possible attack from any monsters that might be lurking under my bed or in my closet. I glance over at my wife and her feet are always sticking out. I don't know how she sleeps like that! I would either freeze to death of freeze from fear of the monsters attacking my feet! Even though I'm 37, I am still a little afraid of the dark, so when I shut the light off I actually quickly jump in the bed and immediately cover up. The arrival of fall means optimal sleeping weather. Windows open, fan on for noise, cool fall breeze blowing in the window...heaven on earth! Oh ya, I forgot...I also have a 2 year old sleeping in the bed and she sleeps with absolutely no covers! I spend a good part of the night trying to analyze how she sleeps with no covers. I would have frostbite if I didn't have at least a sheet on, but she sleeps through the snoring, me hitting my wife in attempt to get her to stop, and the coolness of the night without any problems and wakes every morning re-energized and ready to go. When did I stop waking up like this? 20 years ago? 10? Who knows? But I want that feeling back! I also sleep with socks on...just in case I do fall asleep and a toe or foot accidentally become exposed. Here's a tip: If you are ever in a pillow fight use a Tempurpedic pillow. They weigh like 20 pounds and are an absolute wrecking ball. It usually only takes one hit and you win. I dominated my 2 year old with it the other day..she's such a baby.

I would suggest using ear plugs to combat the snoring. I use the silicone type.
While my wife is not a snorer she whistles like a freight train due to a
deviated septum. Just be sure that someone wakes you in time for work because you'll be unable to hear the alarm.

yep ear plugs aren't that great. My sister's mother inlaw has slept in a separate bedroom forever since she had the kids and complained that her husband snored to much. In fact, when they renovated in the 1908's they added small wings for themselves. It actually is pretty cool, I have to admit.

Each person gets there own bathroom, closet and bedroom, you can decorate it any way you wish...for most of us it would only work the old fashiopned way where hubby comes to make his visit to wifey's room a few times a month:>

I can sleep any where, any time, with almost any noise. The only things that wake me up are cell phone, and if the dogs are doing something. I can be in the deepest darkest sleep, but if those dogs are doing some thing wrong, or they are getting sick - it snaps me awake!
