I have a snow blower which needs to be repaired (I'm trying to get a jump on the coming season) - does anyone have any recommendations on where I might try to get it fixed? Its not very old (3 years) - its a Yardman 5.5 hp. I think it has a Tecumseh engine. I'm not much of a do it yourselfer.

    Any suggestions??

    Steve

I would check the lawnmower shop over in Sterling. I think it's called Sterling Lawnmower Repair and Sale. Something like that.

To get there head down Waxpool, passed Wegman's; go over 28 and it will be on the right, very close to the Alpine Ski Shop. They're very good in there.

Yeah, but you'll have to pass it, turn right, turn right, turn left, left, then two quick rights and a u-turn and you're there!!!

The title of the thread can be interperted as joke about BoS Member (Dulles District - Ashburn Farm, Broadlands, South Riding etc) Steve Snow...

    Re: Snowblower Repair

    StevieD and others--

For snowblower repairs--also, check out Capital Rentals in Sterling on Shaw Road. They do not just offer tool and equipment rentals; but also repairs for your own tools, equipment, etc. Call them and double-check. Web site info is--

Also, check our Sterling Mower on Shaw Road in Sterling as someone posted. We have used them also in the past and recommend the store. Web site and info is below--
