Need Advice So where's the best place to buy a laptop?

    I don't need anything really fancy - just doing email, paying bills on line, some webcam with friends. I've been to Best Buy and to Circuit City and they have so many deals, offers, financing, rebates, upgrades, etc! that it is almost overwhelming. Then also I've been to Dell's website and they look good. So...does anyone have any recent experience? Thanks!

    Costco has good prices on laptops.

    Check out the following online sites:
    www.deals2buy.com
    www.edealinfo.com

    These sites will show u deals for dell, HP, lenovo etc. These sites are updated throughout the day (as and when the find deals)..so u might want to check them more than once a day.

    I picked up a $399 no frills laptop from Staples 2 weeks ago. I checked the Sunday paper for a few weeks to find the best deals. Best Buy and Staples had competing deals that week. Office Depot also has some good prices on laptops. Good luck!

    there seem to be some great deals out now (especially laptops from what i've seen!) because it's back to school time.
