    The Mission Support Business Unit of SAIC is searching for a Software Engineer to support a program in Northern Virginia. An active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance is REQUIRED in order to be considered for this position.

    Duties: The Software Developer will be responsible for new development, enhancements, and maintenance support of user-level software and tools. The candidate will be able to work under very general supervision with results being reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. These engineers will have frequent contact with customers and managers at all level and will provide solutions to difficult technical problems related to specific projects.

    Required skills:
    B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or 4 years of software development experience.
    5-8 years experience in increasing complex technical tasks
    Experience with all aspects of a full-lifecycle software engineering methodology such as waterfall, agile, hybrid/other
    Experience with software development in at least one of C++, C#, or Java
    Experience with at least one of HTML/DHTML, Javascript, AJAX, or ActionScript
    Experience with client-server communications protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, SSH, COM/DCOM
    Experience with server development technologies including Apache Web Server, ANT, Tomcat, and J2EE
    Strong history of software application development using Object Oriented Programming

    Desired Skills:
    Familiarity with computer security, authentication and cryptography a plus
    Familiarity with Visual Studio and .Net technology a plus
